Episode 2

Episode 1

What is #thesetlistchallenge?

Hip Hop is about the battle as in Verzuz… but it is also about iron sharpening iron, challenging our self and others in a way that helps us grow to be the best versions of ourselves. This is what The Setlist Challenge is about. We launched with the THERAPEUTIC Setlist Challenge.

In the future, you will see themed Setlist Challenges such as, the EDUCATIONAL Setlist Challenge, the RESILIENCE Setlist Challenge and many more. You will also see creative variations… like the THERAPEUTIC Setlist Challenge (Golden Era Edition) and many more.

What Is the Format?

  • 15 tracks (approximately 2-3 minutes max) that speak to the theme

  • Example Theme: "Therapeutic" -- Therapeutic is completely subjective but is considered therapeutic in some way to the person in the moment (i.e., having a good effect on the body or mind; contributing to a sense of well-being; helping with self-awareness and social awareness)

  • Each track can only be played once (any person can introduce a track). If Timothy plays a classic that was in Raphael’s crates, too bad!

  • Each person should consider “responding” to the track previously played if possible

Upcoming Events?

In the future, you will also see others from the Hip Hop, well-being, and education family put their skills to the test in their own challenge. Imagine other big names stepping into the ring for the THERAPEUTIC Setlist Challenge. Maybe it will be YOU!
